Meet the chapter president, Layton Karcher

Hello, my name is Layton Karcher and I am a sophomore from McLeansboro, IL studying Chemistry. I am super excited to lead and grow the legacy that Lambda Chi has created on SEMO's campus. In the past 35 years, Lambda Chi Alpha has provided hundreds of men with personal growth and leadership opportunities as well as a portal to branch out into other organizations on campus. I am excited to lead this organization to continue to foster our strong spirit of brotherhood, leaving our campus community better than we found it. 

When I came to SEMO as a freshman, I knew I wanted to join a fraternity, but I never thought it would be Lambda Chi Alpha. I joined Lambda Chi because of the genuine connections that I made with the brothers of this chapter and the support they offered me through brotherhood. Joining a fraternity is the best way to get a head start on college, allowing you to find what you're passionate about while also providing a home away from home.
